Vice President, Daniella Berrospi

Daniella is a junior in the International Baccalaureate program at Coral Gables Senior High School. Greatly involved in her school community, Daniella an active member of Gables’ Student Government Association, treasurer of the Gables’ International Baccalaureate Society and Model UN Team, and the vice president of Gables’ National English Honor Society. Likewise, she finds it equally—if not, more—important to involve oneself in the global community and to aid others in manifesting true understanding of the world around them. For this reason, Daniella believes it to be her civic duty; to immerse herself in an organization that serves to educate the people in a non-partisan manner and promotes a positive message to others on prevalent racial issues impacting the community around us.

Recording Secretary, Deven Kamlani

Deven is a sophomore attending Gulliver Preparatory in Miami, Florida. He is a member of his school's Model UN Team and Asian Culture Club -- he has received Gulliver’s “Principal’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.” As an Indian-American, Deven often encounters discrimination and stereotypical remarks. Yet, he has come to realize that it is not due to hatred, but due to a lack of understanding about other cultures or people different then themselves. Embracing one of Nelson Mandela’s famous quotes: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”, Deven has joined the Agora Project to help increase awareness of what kids in his situation face.

Logistics Coordinator, Christopher Badillo

Christopher Badillo, a junior at the School for Advanced Studies, has dedicated his life to rebel in the face of systematic injustice. He is a card-carrying member of the ACLU. He served on the board of directors for the Miami Young Leaders Summit, bringing together 300 of Miami's young advocates to expand their skill sets and was an assistant organizer for the FL-26 Town Hall for Our Lives. An advocate for Amendment 4's universality of voting rights for all, he hopes to disarm discrimination in all respects. For Christopher, The Agora Project is another step in the fight against systematic injustice, racism, and discrimination, leading to a truly just and equal society.

Communications Liaison, Alexander Sutton

Alex is a junior at Coral Gables Senior High School. He is interested in political science, journalism, socializing, and languages; which is probably the reason why Alex claims he talks too much. He likes to have fun, and cannot wait to better the world through The Agora Project. He hopes to travel the world, start a company, and maybe even run for office one day — but for the moment he's more concerned about taking selfies.
